Frequently Asked Questions
Do you require a security bond upon check-in?
On arrival guests are required to provide a credit card pre-authorisation to the value of $200.00 to cover any miscellaneous charges. Where a credit card is not available a $200.00 cash deposit will be required. In addition, to eliminate identity fraud, we will ask you to provide photo ID at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity. Guests must be over the age of 18.
A record and/or copy of this photo ID may be retained to minimise the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation. Any personal information contained on the collected ID will be securely stored and carefully disposed of at the end of its usefulness.
Can I book Theme Park tickets?
We do have a full tour desk at reception in which we can book all theme park tickets and tours. Have a fun day at Wet & Wild, Movie World, Dreamworld or Paradise Country. You can take a trip into the Subtropical Rainforest and experience the magic.
Can we book our accommodation for Schoolies at Beachside Apartments?
Surfers Beachside Holiday Apartments does not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual schoolies period. In particular it does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of guests during this time. For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leaves for the entire schoolies period. All guests must be over 18 years and provide photo ID and credit card or cash bond of $200 per person for security.
Is after hours and late check-in available?
After hours check-in is available via the night phone and safe at Front of Building. – prior arrangements to be made with Surfers Beachside. Late check-in is also subject to availability. Please check with reception the day prior to your departure.
