CANCELLATION POLICY: PLEASE CHECK WHICH ONE YOU HAVE PURCHASED

The Superior One Bedroom apartments have been fully refurbished with better quality furnishings. All kitchen utilities, cutlery, crockery and linen are included in the tarif

Option 1

The requested deposit is required to confirm the booking. Upon processing your deposit, we will email you a confirmation as a receipt. The balance will be due upon your arrival by cash or credit card.

Cancellation of the booking more than 14 days prior to planned date of arrival is free of charge for Low Season. Resulting in a full refund of your deposit. The guest will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival

School Holidays + Mid & High Season

Full payment of your accommodation will be taken 30 days prior to arrival, your apartment may be re-booked to another party seeking accommodation at that time. If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days prior to the planned arrival date, there will be no refund. There is no refund in event of a shortened stay.

Option 2

If you have purchased a Non-Refundable Pay NOW and Save offer this is non-refundable, please be aware that no changes or cancellations are possible. This rate is prepaid and your credit card will be charged in full at the time of booking.

On arrival guests are required to provide a credit card pre-authorisation to the value of $200.00 to cover any miscellaneous charges. Where a credit card is not available a $200.00 cash deposit will be required. In addition, to eliminate identity fraud, we will ask you to provide photo ID at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity.

A record and/or copy of this photo ID may be retained to minimise the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation. Any personal information contained on the collected ID will be securely stored and carefully disposed of at the end of its usefulness.

Schoolies

Surfers Beachside Holiday Apartments does not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate the unique needs of school leavers during the annual schoolies period. In particular it does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of guests during this time.
For this reason we reserve the right to reject bookings from school and/or university leaves for the entire schoolies period. (19 Nov 2022 - 4 Dec 2022) All guests must be over 18 years and provide photo ID and credit card or cash bond of $200 per person for security.

No Party Policy

Surfers Beachside has a strict “NO party” policy! 
This includes no hen’s or bridal parties, no bucks parties, no groups of singles parties. We also require a min stay of 3 nights or more for New Year’s Eve. On arrival and we find that you are a group of singles or party group or only planning on staying 2 nights or less over New Year’s Eve and have not made prior arrangement with us you may be turned away and will be liable for the full amount of your stay.

Monday-Friday: 8.30am - 5.00pm
Saturday: 8.30am - 1.00pm 
Sunday and Public Holidays: 8.30am - 11.00am
If your arrival time is outside of these hours, please contact us 24 hours prior so alternative arrangements can be made for your check-in.

We cannot 100% guarantee any one particular apartment, however, we will certainly do our best to meet with your requests.

Third party bookings
Third parties are required to follow the cancellation policy set out above. If you booked through a travel agent, online booking platform or other third party, please contact your booking provider directly who will explain the options for modification, cancellation or credit voucher applicable to your booking.

Updated COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

In this time of uncertainty, we at Surfers Beachside Holiday Apartments would like to assure you that we are working closely with our guests to give you some assurance and comfort when booking.

This policy is applicable to bookings up to 30th June 2022. The actual guest that has booked a flexible rate (not a non-refundable rate) may cancel or modify their reservations without penalties free of charge until 2 days prior to arrival, subject to the below conditions:

If a Government Health Directive closes the State borders and you are an interstate traveller If the State Govt locks down the Gold Coast If the booking guest’s resident LGA is locked down & therefore guest is unable to check in.
Please note that it is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that they comply with all health directive conditions, for example interstate guests must be double vaxxed etc. If you do not comply with these directives you will not be entitled to modify or cancel the reservation inside this cancellation policy.
